Legacy’s Agrando was top Prospective Stallion with his SA Sport Horse Federation licencing in 2005, obtaining the excellent 85.3% overall, and 9.5 / 10 for his showjumping technique, judged by an international inspectorate.

Agrando’s showjumping family is legendary- with international showjumping competitors, and Premium awards colouring each avenue of his family tree.
His Sire, Lindenburg, is an Oldenburg Elite Sale and S level showjumper and full brother to Ludger Beerbaum’s World Games Gold Medallist, Lady Weingard, Premium stallion Libertas, and 1995 Approved winner.

Another full sister is the dam of Premium stallion, Lord Weinland. Landkaiser Gold Medal winner Lady Weingard. The Grand Dam is also an advanced showjumper.
The Grand Sire, Landadel is Landgraf’s most famous son, and the sire line of a showjumping dynasty, as well as a progenitor of movement.

In addition, this royal showjumping pedigree sports the Foundation Holstein Sire Ladykiller XX. No less than 3 times in 5 generations, in addition to the hallmark showjumping proginitors Gotthard and Grannus – both in turn have produced multiple international and Olympic competitors.

Agrando’s dam Winter Luna originates from a Multi Champion mare line. The Grand dam St Pr St Larinera was sold on an Oldenburg Elite sale in Germany.
She was subsequently graded State premium prior to her import to South Africa, and she in turn won Mare Championships.
The great grand dam, Burchikose was also a champion mare and her dam in turn is the dam of international eventer and German Licenced stallion Zapateado.

Larinera’s sire Pr H Larinero was campion stallion at his licencing and has produced multiple high priced auction stock and excellent sport competitors.
He in turn is by the World Games eventing medalist, Ladalco.

The dam sire Winterstar was the highest priced colt sold on the Hanoverian Elite sale in Germany, and he was subsequently performance tested and approved for licencing in Germany, prior to import to South Africa.
He is half brother to the Nr 1 ranked showjumper 2004, Olympic Gold Medalist and Hanoverian Champion Stallion For Pleasure –both being out of the mare Gigantin.
The latter herolds from the showjumping sire dynasty of Grannus, which has produced a family of international showjumpers and Olympic competitors through generations.
Winterstar’s sire marks the versatility in his pedigree, in that Wittenberg was a highly respected Grand Prix Dressage contender.

Agrando himself has progeny competing successfully in all arenas of competition.
Legacy’s Lanzerac, a son of Agrando, is also doing fantastic in the showjumping arena and is currently also standing at stud in SA.
